
Katarzyna Bilewska
Professor Katarzyna Bilewska is a partner at BLSK in the Dispute Resolution department. Katarzyna run the Corporate Dispute Practice, participating as an attorney and counsel in a number of precedent-setting corporate disputes, including those of a cross-border nature. She has vast experience in handling complex shareholder disputes and domestic and international court and registry proceedings. She combines expertise in corporate law with practical litigation experience. Katarzyna is also a distinguished scholar and professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She was the head of the Commercial Law Department at this Faculty from 2017 to 2020. Katarzyna authored nearly 200 articles and dissertations on civil and commercial law. In 2024 she co-authored the 5th edition of the major Polish commentary to the Code of Commercial Companies (articles referring to challenging of the corporate resolutions) and the 5th edition of the handbook of Commercial Law (both published by C.H. Beck). Katarzyna also adjudicates as an arbitrator and is also involved in the dissemination of alternative methods of resolving corporate and commercial disputes in Poland. She was a key member of the Corporate Arbitration Team of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (SAKIG) which prepared the Rules of the SAKIG Pertaining to Resolution Disputes in force as from 1 January 2022. · BLSK
