Partner at Across Legal in Spain specializing in intellectual property and ICT law. He coordinated European R&D projects, was a researcher at IESE (1996–2001), headed the ICT department of Baker & McKenzie Barcelona (2001–2006), co-founded id‑law partners in 2006 (incorporated into Across Legal in May 2018), served as an independent examiner for the European Commission on the Software Patent Directive study (2006), and since 2014 has been President of the ICT Section of the ICAB (having previously been Vice‑President of the IP Section).
