Dr. Ahmed Weshahi is Senior and Founding Partner at ALC Alieldean Weshahi & Partners, advising on mega-developments, public procurement, complex construction agreements, project finance and M&A, and since 2016 has led teams setting up numerous state-owned companies across industrial, urban development, construction, asset management, tourism and mining sectors. He is an Associate Professor of Commercial Law at Cairo University, advised on the structure and establishment of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), participated in preparing laws including Blood and Plasma Operations Law No. 8 of 2021, and serves as an independent board member of EG Bank.
