Managing Partner at Ulises Cabrera with a practice focused on civil and commercial matters, foreign investment, export free zones and duty frees, agency and distribution law, labour and employment, tax litigation, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications and intellectual property. He previously spent five years at the local office of an international firm (first as a senior associate and later as a partner leading its corporate and business practice), co-founded a Dominican law firm with global reach, and held managerial positions at the largest Dominican telecommunications company where he served as that company’s focal point for the ITU working group on the General Telecommunications Bill and was a member of the negotiation team for the company’s telecommunications concession.
