Armando Lara Yaffar is a Partner in KPMG Law Mexico's International Tax Services department with more than 25 years' experience advising companies in the technology, retail, pharmaceuticals and energy sectors on international tax matters. He has expertise in tax treaties, preferential tax regimes (REFIPRES) and accreditation of taxes paid abroad, has served as an external consultant to the World Bank, UN, CIAT and IMF, and is a speaker and author on international tax topics (including analysis of the 2015 CRS and contribution to the 2011 UN tax model).
