A retired Federal Judge of the Federal Regional Court of the 2nd Region (TRF2), he is a Full Professor of Financial and Tax Law at Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), coordinated the CNJ Diagnostic Report on Brazilian Tax Litigation, served as Rapporteur for the Senate Commission of Jurists on Reform of Tax Procedure, and is a member of ABDF, ILADT and IFA; recognized in the 2025 Análise Advocacia survey among the Most Admired Lawyers in the Comprehensive category in Rio de Janeiro.
