Partner at Lathrop Mujica Herrera & Diez Abogados since May 2026, Mauricio López co-leads the firm’s tax law area and has more than 25 years’ experience advising domestic and multinational companies on mergers, divisions, reorganizations and corporate tax optimization, as well as on derivatives, IPOs, bond issuances, international trade and the development and financing of productive projects. He has focused on clients in the finance, mining, energy and commerce sectors and was previously a partner at Recabarren & Asociados and at KPMG (2011–2020).
