He has more than 25 years of experience advising national and multinational companies on patent portfolio protection in Mexico and abroad, with specialties in mechanics, electronics, industrial designs, telecommunications and information technologies; he is an active member and current Treasurer of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI) and served as Chair of its Patent Committee (2008–2014).
