Daniel Weinstein is a Partner at Morales & Besa with two decades of experience in the mining sector, combining in‑house roles at leading mining companies with extensive external advisory work on complex transactions. He has led legal teams at BHP on major cross‑jurisdictional projects, advises across the mining cycle from early‑stage exploration to commissioning of large‑scale operations, commonly on strategic alliances, joint ventures and exploration agreements, and has served on the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Mining since 2023 and as its President since 2024; he rejoined Morales & Besa in 2025.
