Abel Gomes is a partner at Licks Attorneys, joining the firm in August 2021 after retiring from the Regional Federal Court of the 2nd Region, where he served 16 years as an appellate judge following 12 years as a federal judge. He is one of Brazil's most experienced magistrates in industrial property, having been rapporteur for more than 300 decisions on patents, trademarks and industrial designs.
