Yerzhan Yessimkhanov is a partner at GRATA International in Kazakhstan and heads the Telecommunication & Transport and Construction & Infrastructure department. He advises on construction and infrastructure, real estate and telecommunications, has led legal work on major Kazakh infrastructure projects (including ski resort reconstruction for the 2011 Asian Games, a ~US$700 million power plant reconstruction, and public tender/concession work on the Big Almaty Ring Road), led recognition/defence of construction claims and supported the launch of Uber in Kazakhstan, and holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge (2023).
