Managing Partner with more than 15 years' practice in Azerbaijani business and tax law, with extended experience in corporate and business law, construction, banking and financial law, and international taxation. He previously led the Tax Law Report Unit at the Ministry of Taxes (authoring several chapters of the Azerbaijani Tax Code), led the legal department at one of the largest private investment groups in Azerbaijan, served as a leading lawyer for the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (member of the Procurement Commission and drafter of its Tender Regulations), is a Matrix-UK accredited FIDIC trainer who has drafted FIDIC rainbow-suite contracts for major public construction projects, is the author of Tax Law Book (Bilnet, Istanbul, 2023) and has taught business and tax law at Azerbaijani universities since 2013 (most recently at Khazar University since 2020 and Baku State University since 2023).
