Denis Chang SC is Head of Chambers at Denis Chang’s Chambers and a leading Hong Kong senior counsel whose practice has been almost exclusively civil, with specialist work in property, tax, constitutional and human rights litigation, Chinese customary law and probate and administration. Called to the Bar of England and Wales (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1968 and admitted to the Hong Kong Bar in 1970, he was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1981, chaired the Hong Kong Bar Association (1985–1987), served on the Executive Council and other public bodies, and was awarded a CBE in 1997.
