He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, and used to be fluent in C++ and Java from his previous career as a computer programmer. Yang has been recognized as a “Band 1” practitioner in Corporate/M&A (China-based International Firms) by Chambers, rated as “Highly Regarded” by IFLR1000, and credited with at least one “Deal of the Year” every year in the past decade by various publications and agencies.
