Dr. Max Oehm is a partner of Baker McKenzie’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Max advises international clients on complex commercial disputes, in particular regarding professional services (advisors liability), post-M&A and IT-/ infrastructure projects. He represents his clients in state court litigation, international arbitration and in other ADR proceedings. The Legal 500 (2024) has recognized Max as "Rising Star Litigation" and Best Lawyers lauds him as "One to Watch" for International Arbitration, Litigation and Mediation since 2022. Max holds a doctoral degree from the University of Mainz, Germany, and obtained a master’s degree in law at Boston University, USA, where he was awarded the American Law Outstanding Achievement Award. Max writes and speaks regularly on international arbitration and professional services issues. He teaches at the University of Mannheim, Germany. Max focuses on advising clients on managing risks and resolving disputes relating to professional services (advisors liability), post-M&A and IT-/ infrastructure projects. He is experienced in resolving disputes through international arbitration, commercial litigation and other ADR proceedings, including mediation and adjudication. To help clients make informed decisions about whether to invest in dispute resolution and to ensure that they get the best possible return on their investment, Max relies on AI and legal technology risk analysis tools to calculate probabilities for clients to prevail on their claims. Max also uses these tools to efficiently determine key aspects of a case and to develop convincing arguments for his clients. Max regularly acts as an arbitrator in international arbitrations.

Max von Rospatt, partner of rospatt, works mainly as a trial attorney in the field of patent and utility model law. Based on a large number of cases of international importance, he has an excellent knowledge of international patent law. He regularly works in integrated teams with patent law experts from various countries. Ever since he began his career, he has not only conducted cases in the technical fields which has traditionally been important in patent law, namely mechanics, electronics and mechanical engineering, but has also been involved in numerous trials in the fields of pharmaceuticals, genetic engineering, chemistry and fine chemicals, digital entertainment electronics and medical engineering. Among his clients are internationally renowned pharmaceuticals and biotechnology companies, consumer goods producers, suppliers for the automotive industry and manufacturers of electronic components, and also SMEs in the plant construction sector and companies in the packaging industry. He has trial experience from appearances before all the main German patent courts and regularly take part in proceedings before the European Patent Office, the German Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court. Maximilian Uibeleisen

Dr. Maximilian Uibeleisen focuses his practice on clients working around energy and infrastructure, with particular experience in advising corporates and financial investors with regard to the development and acquisition and sale of energy and infrastructure assets. Max has a particular focus on the renewable energy sector, where he has advised for almost 20 years on a large number of project developments and transactions relating to all different kinds of renewables facilities (including offshore and onshore wind, solar, biomass, geothermal) as well as energy transition (e.g. green hydrogen and battery storage). Next to this work in the energy sector, Maximilian frequently advises in other infrastructure sectors, including in the German motorway PPP sector, the chemicals sector and in relation to digital infrastructure assets. She also provides comprehensive advice on all issues of employee data protection. The core of her work is also advising on international data transfers.
