Anastasia Makri is head of our Energy and Insurance practice groups. Her areas of practice are M&A and project development, with a focus on energy and infrastructure. She has worked on large-scale projects involving private entities and state agencies and has extensive experience in transactions involving complex commercial contracts and negotiations. From 2009 to 2017 she led the firm’s legal team that successfully supported the implementation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, one of the largest and most complex construction projects in Greece hosting the new venues of the Greek National Library and the Greek National Opera. She regularly advises clients on various energy, privatization and infrastructure projects. Anastasia’s expertise covers insurance and regularly advises international and local insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries on insurance transactions, insurance regulatory, and contractual matters.
