In such projects, she drafts tender documents and contracts and supervises the tender procedures. Examples of projects in which Nienke has been involved include the strengthening of the Markermeer dykes for the Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier, the dismantling and decontamination of the Thermphos phosphorus plant, the renovation of the Dom Tower, the renovation of Lelylaan railway station, and several tenders within the Amsterdam Road Tunnels Programme, including the new Amsterdam Traffic Control Centre. Nienke also has a particular affinity with, and many years of experience in, the procurement of care in the social domain (youth care and Wmo) and in the development of realistic rates. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Corporate Tender Board of Rijkswaterstaat, where she advises on tenders and contract forms for the largest construction projects in the Netherlands. Nienke has been ranked as "Leading Individual Construction" in The Legal 500 in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Nina has extensive experience in litigation regarding the application of the Dutch Government Information (Public Access) Act and related regulations. Nina also specialises in privacy and data protection law. She focuses on the entire scope of this field: from litigating on requests for access, to advising on the permissibility of data exchanges and assessing the compliance of innovative projects with the General Data Protection Regulation and specific data protection legislation. Nina studied at Utrecht University where she completed two bachelor's degrees and the Legal Research Master's degree cum laude. She wrote a preliminary advice on privacy in administrative law, co-authors the annual Chronicle on Transparency and Integrity in Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Bestuursrecht (Dutch Administrative Law Journal) and annotates judgments on a regular basis. Nina is a board member of the Dutch Administrative Law Association. She has been a member of the Appeals Board of the Royal Dutch Race Cycling Union (KNWU) since 2018.
