Adam is a specialist real estate litigator advising on a wide range of property related disputes including dilapidation claims, 1954 Act lease renewal proceedings, forfeiture, breach of covenant, nuisance, trespass, adverse possession, rent and service charge recovery and claims for compensation in respect of compulsory purchase orders. Andrew Jones is a solicitor and STEP member with over 25 years’ experience in the private client tax and estate planning field. His areas of specialisation include trusts and trust taxation; inheritance tax planning, especially for entrepreneurs, farmers and clients with high net worth; FATCA; and personal, and estate, income tax and capital gains tax. He has a particular specialisation in the affairs of clients with overseas aspects to their estates – both for non-domiciled clients with UK assets and for England and Wales-domiciled clients with non-UK assets. He is an accomplished M&A, capital markets and corporate specialist with a City background, having trained at Fox Williams and previously practised at BDB Pitmans. Andrew is highly experienced in capital markets transactions, acting for listed companies, nominated advisors and brokers in relation to IPOs, fundraisings and reverse takeovers. He also has vast experience in supporting private equity funds, as well as in advising both sellers and buyers on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions with deal values of up to £100 million. Andrew is extremely conversant with the start-up ecosystem, having spent a number of years advising start-ups, founders, university spinouts, universities and incubators.
