Brendan specializes in complex commercial disputes, deal litigation, and public law matters. He has significant trial, appellate litigation, and arbitration experience across a variety of industries and practice areas, including transportation (air and rail), large infrastructure projects and construction, energy, insurance, procurement, administrative law, and constitutional law. Brendan has appeared before the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as many arbitral tribunals in both international and domestic arbitrations. Brittany M. Pemberton
Brittany Pemberton advises energy, oil and gas, and industrial clients in environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement matters, including handling stationary source enforcement and compliance matters under the Clean Air Act (CAA) before the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state agencies. She also represents companies and trade associations participating in the federal rulemaking process, including developing comments on a variety of EPA, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) proposals and challenging final agency rules in federal court. Her practice also regularly includes representing companies in administrative appeals before federal agencies, such as the DOI.
