Her fraud specific experience has seen Caroline play a significant role in connected Search Order and Freezing Order applications, possession hearings and bankruptcy proceedings. Caroline’s experience extends to London arbitration claims under LMAA terms, together with experience in the High Court and Court of Appeal. As part of this, she successfully represented a client in one of the leading cases on the interpretation of force majeure provisions before the Supreme Court in RTI Ltd v MUR Shipping BV [2024] UKSC 18. Caroline is also a key member of a multi-disciplinary team acting for the liquidators of a European insurance company pursuing former directors and other connected parties in a complex multiple million-pound fraud claim.
