Yang Wang
Yang Wang is a Partner in the Beijing office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and a leading practitioner in private equity and M&A transactions in Asia, with a strong focus on Greater China. He represents private equity funds and corporate clients on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate finance transactions and other general corporate matters. Yang has advised Apax, Blackstone, Hillhouse, KKR, Macquarie, PAG, Primavera, Warburg Pincus and their respective portfolio companies in leveraged buy-outs and private equity investments of over US$40 billion in the aggregate, Alibaba Group, Ant Group and participants in their ecosystem in strategic investment and corporate finance transactions of over US$40 billion in the aggregate, various China state-owned enterprises in outbound investment transactions of over US$30 billion in the aggregate, and many other major investment and strategic transactions involving Greater China.
