As a Child Arbitrator, Partner Emily Watson has arbitrated private law children disputes. We also offer Mediation as an alternative to lengthy court proceedings where appropriate. Legal Director Che Meakins is a trained mediator and a Specialist Accredited member of Resolution so is committed to adopting a constructive approach to family cases. We also practice Collaborative Law, providing a holistic approach to resolving family disputes. Anna-Laura Lock
Anna-Laura has over 12 years of experience in family law having trained and worked at a large London firm before joining Rayden Solicitors. She advises on all aspects of family law to individuals – both during a relationship to help them plan for their future, and also after a relationship has broken down. Anna-Laura’s practice includes divorce and complex financial matters involving trusts, companies, especially family businesses, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial or civil partnership agreements and cohabitation. She advises regularly in relation to issues involving children with an awareness of the importance of finding a child-focused solution whilst at the same time supporting clients through a sensitive and painful time. A large proportion of her work is cases involving an international element with countries ranging from America, Europe, India and the Middle East. Partner and Resolution accredited specialist, Emily has extensive experience of the many and complex financial issues arising from separation and divorce including those with an international dimension. Emily routinely advises in relation to disputes concerning children, with a particular success in relocation cases as well as cases involving challenging allegations against a parent. Emily also regularly deals with pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation disputes. Clients appreciate Emily’s razor-sharp intellect, supportive manner, her clear explanations of the legal issues and willingness to fight their corner robustly when appropriate. Julian Bremner
Partner and financial arbitrator, Julian concentrates on resolving financial disputes involving high net worth individuals and families with significant wealth held in a variety of different structures and jurisdictions. Julian also has extensive experience in family law dealing with a broad spectrum of matters including divorce , financial matters , children matters , separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements , postnuptial agreements and financial provision for children of unmarried couples or civil partnerships and gay marriage. Julian understands that divorce and separation is a difficult time in an individual's life and does his best to ensure that his advice and approach assists and does not inflame a tricky situation. Her extensive experience as a family lawyer, business owner and award winning entrepreneur mark her out as a family law expert who provides sensible, commercial advice on a range of family law issues. Katherine has over 30 years’ experience as a specialist family law solicitor. She specialises in the financial disputes that can follow the breakdown of any relationship. Katherine has practical knowledge and experience of working with different business structures and inter-company loans and understands the impact that these can have on financial negotiations or settlement. She is also experienced in cases with complex international or corporate structures, pre-nuptial agreements, expatriate divorces as well as those that require an in-depth analysis of complex income structures and pensions.
