- About us Miles & Partners was founded in 1996 to offer a modern, accessible approach to legal advice and representation in relation to disputes in family law, mental health and housing. Based close to Liverpool Street Station and the City of London we advise clients regionally and internationally. Our lawyers enjoy working with a diverse client base – from homeless people to senior executives, to elderly people with dementia. We act for privately funded and legally aided clients and our approach is highly personalised. Cerise represents family members and vulnerable individuals in proceedings before the Court of Protection under the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Her work focuses on issues concerning a vulnerable adult’s capacity and best interests, in relation to both health and welfare and property and affairs. She is regularly instructed by the Official Solicitor in section 16 and section 21A Court of Protection proceedings, and has extensive experience acting for P through RPPR’s, and family members.
