- Directors: Ashley Palminteri, Elizabeth Bruce and Mark Sage Founded in 2012, The Family Law Practice was the first niche family law firm in Bristol . TFLP offers clients a full range of services in family and matrimonial issues, including divorce, financial remedy work, child and parenting disputes, and matters involving trusts, offshore accounts and having multi jurisdictional reach. The team are all specialist family solicitors, often working collaboratively in teams so as to draw on a breadth of experience. ### Key areas of expertise Financial Remedy work within matrimonial proceedings, involving both local and national High Net Worth individuals often with a commercial element, offshore assets, trust assets and complex income structures. The majority of cases have a requirement for expert witnesses whether to value businesses, tax, properties, advice on complex pension structures and trust assets. Collaborative Law and other forms of Non-Court Dispute Resolution. Three of the firm’s partners are Collaboratively trained lawyers and one is a trained Mediator. The Firm are increasingly using private FDR’s to resolve matters providing a better experience for clients compared to the court process, as well as arbitration. Cases with an international element and involving complex jurisdictional issues, in particular regarding Private Children law cases where within the last 12 months we have dealt with a number of cases of international relocation and/or permission to remove from the jurisdiction to non-Hague Convention countries.
