José Ramón is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department at the Seville office. He co-manages Agribusiness and Food at Garrigues. He practices in the areas of corporate/commercial law, mainly in connection with M&A, commercial contracts in general and company and corporate law. He specializes in corporate law. He has participated in negotiating and formalizing agreements recording the sale and purchase, merger and integration of companies, shareholder agreements and protocols, joint venture, investment and divestment agreements, managing due diligence teams, coordinating with respect to financing for acquisitions. Miguel Ángel López Mateo

Miguel Ángel López Mateo is co-head of the Agribusiness area of Garrigues since the creation of the practice by the firm. As global co-director, he coordinates the food & drinks activity of all our national and international offices. He has wide experience in M&A, leading teams in Spain, Portugal and in several Latam countries where he has advised a large number of transactions for the acquisition and for the divestment of companies and assets (such as farmland, warehouses, bottling plants, etc), carve-outs, LBOs and MBOs. He usually works with national and international PE funds, advising private equity investors from the pre-investment stages of the projects, during the build-up, restructuring add-ons and portfolios and in all sort of exits, including secondary buy-outs. Advising the day-to-day management of food companies, Miguel Ángel is one of the most reputed experts in areas such as Food Chain laws, and the reference advisor of national associations and federations such as FEPEX. He is equity partner since 2018. Victoria Esteban

Victoria Esteban del Palacio is partner in the administrative law, planning and zoning practice and specializes in environmental law. She has extensive experience in the area of energy. Her experience in this area includes the electricity industry and the hydrocarbons industry, both oil and gas, and she is an expert in the regulatory framework of renewable energies. She also provides advisory services in relation to environmental law (environmental authorizations, water, coasts, protected areas, waste, climate change, energy efficiency, etc.) and zoning law (planning, zoning agreements, licenses).
