The firm was established in November 2018 as a result of the spin-off of the Italian regulatory team of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer with whom the partners and senior associates have had a working relationship for more than 20 years. Carlo Cipriani was involved in setting up the firm, with his 20 year’s experience in civil and company contentious law, as well as in arbitration, with the aim of promoting the field of contentious law in a phase of significant growth. In 2020 the firm’s areas of specialisation were enhanced by the arrival of Anna Maria Schirru, as Of Counsel, who boasts a 20 year record in the financial and real estate sectors.
