Patricia Sánchez is Counsel in the Corporate department at Hogan Lovells Spain in Madrid. She is a member of the Tax practice group, focusing on tax-based financing structures for assets such as vessels, films, and R&D projects. Her work includes design, negotiation, and implementation of structures using tax incentives; advice on EU and Spanish regulations; drafting and negotiation of agreements; assistance during transactions covering tax, mercantile, and financing aspects; advice on new investor entry; assistance with tax audits and EU Commission procedures; and advice in proceedings before the European Court of Justice. She has advised financial institutions, industrial associations, and companies producing and acquiring financed assets. She also assists national and international clients on direct and indirect taxation, global asset acquisitions, cross-border mergers, and real estate transactions.
