Cathrine B. Hetland

Cathrine has significant experience advising various players in the oil and gas industry on a broad range of matters, including legal and commercial aspects of offshore exploration, development, production and sales, as well as M&A projects. She also works extensively with carbon storage projects. Her previous experience includes several years serving as a senior legal counsel for DEA Norge AS, an NCS oil and gas operator, and as a managing associate in the law firm Thommessen. She is recognised within "Energy: Oil and Gas" in Chambers Global and Chambers Europe, and has for several years in a row been ranked as one of Norway's up and coming lawyers within oil and gas in the Norwegian financial daily Finansavisen's lawyer ranking. She is also a "Recommended Lawyer" within oil and gas in Legal 500. Cathrine is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's panel on Hydropower, Energy and Oil and Gas law.
