Partner at Cuatrecasas based in Spain who has acted as counsel in over 70 international arbitrations across Europe, Latin America, North America, Africa and Western Asia; he also serves as an arbitrator and advises on arbitration-related court proceedings, including setting aside, recognition and enforcement of awards, interim measures and liability of arbitrators. He lectures on international arbitration at several Spanish universities and was formerly part of the teaching team for the LLM in International and Comparative Commercial Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London; he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Madrid Bar Association (1998), ICCA and the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.
