Partner in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez; admitted to the Madrid Bar in 1992 and joined the firm in 1993, and he set up and headed the firm's Lisbon office from 1998 to 2001. He advises domestic and foreign companies on real estate and banking matters—including asset finance, mortgage-backed, project and structured financings—and has assisted in corporate and real estate deals with aggregate consideration of over EUR 38 billion (including financings over EUR 15.3 billion).
