duardo Geli joined Uría Menendez in 1988 and has been a partner of the firm since 1998. In 2000 he was appointed head partner of the firm’s New York office and he returned to Barcelona to coordinate the Corporate Practice Area. Heidi López Castro
Heidi López is a partner in the International Arbitration and Litigation Department of Uría Menéndez. She joined the firm in 2007 and from March to September 2012 she was seconded to the Paris office of Bredin Prat. Heidi has participated in more than seventy international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings with seats in multiple jurisdictions, both ad hoc and under the rules of various international arbitration institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, ICSID and CAM. Heidi also acts as arbitrators in cases administered by national and international arbitration courts. She handles cases under the legislation of several countries, of both civil law and common law, in Spanish, English and French. Heidi has notable experience in complex dispute across a number of sectors, with particular focus in energy, construction and corporate disputes.
