José María Blanco is counsel in the arbitration and litigation area at Uría Menéndez, having joined the firm in 2020. He was a civil and commercial judge for 20 years and served as Head of the Technical Cabinet of the Civil Area of the Supreme Court of Spain from 2015 to 2020; he also teaches at universities and business schools and has authored more than fifty works on civil, commercial and procedural law.
