Partner in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez, Juan Ignacio González Ruiz joined the firm in 1988 and became a partner in 1998; he was resident partner in the firm’s London office from 1995 to 2001. His practice focuses on banking and finance, energy law and project finance, including work on energy market liberalisation, energy supply and trading, third-party access to electricity and gas infrastructure, and development of CCGT and renewable energy projects.
