Partner in Uría Menéndez's Madrid office; joined the firm in 1992 and has been a partner since 2003. He focuses on domestic and international arbitration, civil litigation and mediation, has extensive experience in the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards and interim measures, serves as an arbitrator on multiple panels (including the Madrid Arbitration Court, the Spanish Court of Arbitration, CIMA and the Centre of Arbitration of the Lima Chamber of Commerce) and was recently appointed as a member of the LCIA Court; he is also a CEDR-accredited mediator.
