
Bas van Os
Bas van Os was admitted to the Dutch Bar in January 2024. Bas joined Maverick Advocaten as a junior associate in December 2023. Prior to this, he has been employed at Maverick Advocaten as a paralegal for two years. In 2021 Bas completed his bachelor's degree in political science and in 2022 his bachelor's degree in law, both at Leiden University where he also attended an honors program. In 2023, Bas completed his master's degree in European Competition Law & Regulation at the University of Amsterdam, in addition he took additional courses in several related areas of law. He wrote his thesis on the application of the selectivity criterion in State aid cases. During his studies, Bas completed an internship at a Zuidas firm and worked at several accountancy firms. He was also a co-author of the competition law newsletter of the Tijdschrift Mededingingsrecht in de Praktijk for two years. · Maverick Advocaten N.V.
