
Ramona Volciuc-Ionescu

She dealt with numerous multi-jurisdictional transactions acting on all sides and gained in-depth experience in mergers, domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring and reorganizations, joint ventures, strategic alliances and private equity transactions, as well as regulatory matters. Recent relevant experience includes advising some of the world largest oil&gas companies in relation to petroleum agreements, including concessions, joint operating agreements, farm-in and farm-out agreements, services agreements, licensing and other regulatory requirements for their operations in Romania, advising a world leading utility on the acquisition of several wind farms, photovoltaic plants and biomass projects in Romania, advising a world leading energy group on electricity regulatory and commercial issues, advising a leading regional bank on energy related matters in connection with granting of financing for construction of renewable projects in Romania. Prior to founding Volciuc-Ionescu, Ramona headed the energy team of an international law firm in Bucharest, worked for a leading Austrian law firm in Bucharest and Vienna, and for Lehman Brothers in London.
