Guillaume Mockel advises leading airlines, transport companies, (re)insurers and major policyholders on contentious and non-contentious matters. He also assists leading airlines on their contractual and regulatory activities and represents them before the Belgian courts in matters relating to passenger claims, noise pollution and contractual disputes. Guillaume was admitted to the Brussels bar in September 2021. Guillaume gained experience at reputable national and international firms based in Brussels, specializing in transport and aviation law. Guillaume also successfully completed an internship at the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority. He practices in French and English, and is proficient in German. He contributed to Kennedys’ Global Legal Handbook, one of our most popular guides, which outlines the main legal and procedural issues that case handlers may encounter when dealing with claims across 53 jurisdictions globally.
