Claudio's practice focuses on EU regulatory law with an emphasis on chemicals (REACH/CLP), pesticides and biocides, as well as other related regulated sectors (cosmetics, medical devices, f-Gas, etc.). Claudio's expertise covers all aspects of product regulations and restrictions under, including notification, registration, exemptions/derogations, mutual recognition, classification & labelling, marketing and use restrictions, parallel imports, environmental liability, product recalls and scientific data compensation negotiations, among others. Dr. Cyril-Igor Grigorieff is a member of the Brussels bar since 2006 and a former member of the Paris bar. He holds the title of accredited Transport Law Specialist, granted by the Brussels and Belgian bar authorities. Cyril-Igor gained experience in matters relating to liability in a multi-jurisdictional environment, in European Union regulatory affairs and in aircraft finance in the course of his career in international law firms. He has also gained inside knowledge working on a secondment basis for an airline. He is the author of numerous publications in the field of air law. Notably, he has been one of the named contributors to the Belgian Transportation Code since 2010, and the co-editor of the first law book in French on aircraft finance (Le droit du financement des aéronefs, Bruylant, 2017). In 2021, he successfully defended his PhD study on international air law at Leiden University (Uniformity and Fragmentation of the 1999 Montreal Convention on International Air Carrier Liability, Kluwer, 2022) for which he received the best PhD award by the Air and Space Academy.
