Marcus Elskær Mollerup

Marcus is a manager in our Energy and Infrastructure team and leads Plesner's Environmental Law team. He places great emphasis on good collaboration and focuses on providing advice that is valuable and useful in the client’s commercial and/or political reality. Marcus advises on environmental and planning law, as well as a wide range of public law issues, including energy regulatory matters. He represents public authorities and Danish and international businesses in complex matters, including legal proceedings, complaint processes, and compulsory acquisition matters. Marcus holds a law degree from Aalborg University. Before re-joining Plesner in 2021, he worked as a legal consultant in Municipality of Herlev. This role provided him with thorough knowledge of the legal landscape for municipalities, and insight into the procedures and considerations involved in enforcing environmental and planning legislation. Great teamwork with colleagues and clients is central to Marcus's approach. By applying his expertise and often working closely together his colleagues in our Energy & Infrastructure team, as well as with colleagues in Plesner's Real Estate, M&A and Dispute Resolution teams, Marcus aims to deliver comprehensive and pragmatic legal services and achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Maria Holst Levin

Maria is a partner in Plesner's Energy and Infrastructure team. She has been involved in a wide range of energy and infrastructure matters (M&A, JVs, projects and regulatory) involving both conventional energy (oil and gas), new energy sources (biogas, solar, geothermal), and district heating. Maria advises on transactions, project development, commercial contracts, offtake agreements, and regulatory matters. She has worked for a broad range of large international and national energy companies, project developers, PE funds, and sponsors in both Denmark and internationally. Maria holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen. Maria is chairperson of the Association of Danish Law Firm's Special Committee on Climate. She has extensive lecturing experience, including from the board leadership training program at CBS - Copenhagen Business School and as an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen. Almost all the matters in which Maria is involved require a multi-disciplinary team approach and project leadership. She and the team are continuously sought by clients for their ability to provide a clear set of priorities, clear communication, and a deep commercial understanding of clients’ requirements. Marie is attorney in the Corporate Commercial team. She advises both Danish and international companies on matters related to company law and financial transactions, including general banking financing, corporate restructurings and financing of commercial properties. Additionally, Marie works with capital markets law, bond issues, incentive schemes, M&A, and financial regulations. Marie-Louise Pind has extensive experience in real estate. Her legal expertise includes purchase and sale, tenancy law, commercial tenancy law, construction, defect claims, insurance law, and association law, with a particular focus on owners’ associations and cooperative housing associations. Throughout her career, she has gained a solid understanding of both the commercial and legal aspects of the industry. She excels at finding quick, effective, and durable solutions in complex matters, partly because she can create the space for a negotiated resolution. Marie-Louise Pind is a trained Master Coach and mediator with a particular focus on proactive conflict prevention. Combined with her background as an attorney, this means she has strong competencies in advising and assisting construction management teams and companies in strengthening collaboration and keeping the level of conflict low in major construction projects and partnerships.
