Valerio, who is a member of EY’s Environment, Climate Change & Sustainability team, focuses his practice on providing counsel to both companies and Public bodies. He has a wealth of experience advising clients on environmental law and administrative law matters, both with regard to extrajudicial advice - including legal due diligence activities, and disputes before administrative Courts. In the area of environmental law, Valerio provides counsel on a wide range of matters – including: circular economy, waste management, remediation proceedings, air, water and noise pollution, environmental permits, environmental impact assessment, and major accident hazards – here in particular the "Seveso" legislation. In more detail, his administrative law counsel for companies and public bodies encompasses legal advice on town planning, construction, expropriations, gas distribution and public procurement competitions. He also provides extrajudicial assistance, including due diligence activities, in the field of workplace health and safety, with particular reference to the following matters: compliance with health and safety provisions pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 81/2008; liability of employer, head of prevention and protection service and competent doctor.
