Koen graduated in Dutch civil law from the VU university in Amsterdam mid-2013. During his studies, he gained relevant work experience at several national and international law firms and at a major Dutch bank. Before starting as a lawyer at Fruytier Lawyers in Business, he worked for two years as a lawyer at Fellinger Corporate Law in Amsterdam. Koen specialises in corporate and real estate law and advises on mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and all kinds of real estate matters with a focus on commercial lease law and real estate transactions. He has also gained experience in advising on the development of large-scale solar parks in the Netherlands through a client secondment.
