In the intervening years, she held key positions at the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime, where she primarily focused on financial crime and held the position as acting director. Hedvig has also held leadership roles in the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST), including Deputy Director, where she developed knowledge on topics such as geopolitics, national security, and foreign intelligence.
