Erica Nobel

Erica Nobel has a background as lawyer at the City of Malmö. Thereafter she has been working at law firms, advising cities and companies regarding development issues and application for permits, as well as issues regarding ongoing operations and maintenance. Erica has worked with environmental issues in Sweden since the Environmental Code was adopted and thus she has a comprehensive experience regarding Swedish and European environmental law. Today Erica f.i. advises large infrastructural companies (often partly municipally owned), cities, energy companies and heavy industries. Moreover, Erica has been lecturing regarding the Environmental Code and the Planning and Building Act at the Faculty of Law at Lund University and been a mentor at the University’s Industrial Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE). Erica has a Legal Licentiate Degree and her thesis is named “Recoverable Environmental Damage from an International Perspective” (sv. Ersättningsgilla miljöskador ur ett internationellt perspektiv). She regularly writes articles and gives lectures within the relevant areas of law. Thus Erica has vast experience of giving environmental legal advises to companies within many different areas of industries. The main issues regards application for environmental permits, polluted land and due diligence, as well as ongoing operations and maintenance. The ongoing operations and maintenance are varying and may include issues such as supervision, delegation, security and handling of chemicals. The continuous client contact often ends up in advises which includes both “traditional” legal advises and issues of a more strategic and preventive character.

Erica Wiking Häger

Erica Wiking Häger is the chair of the firm’s Corporate Compliance and Risk practice group. She is also heading the firm’s data privacy practice (GDPR). Erica has extensive experience of advising clients on a broad range of compliance related matters, such as risk assessments and designing and implementing compliance programs in the areas of anti-corruption and data privacy. She also assists the firm’s clients in carrying out compliance and sustainability (ESG) due diligence in M&A transactions. Moreover, she has extensive experience of performing corporate investigations in connection with regulatory inquiries, whistleblower reports, and adverse media coverage. Erica has more than 20 years’ experience of data privacy and has developed the firm’s data privacy practice. She assists clients with all aspects of data privacy, such as GDPR compliance, data protection in the context of new business models, strategies for global data transfers, including binding corporate rules (BCRs), and global cyber security incidents. She also has extensive experience of advising clients in connection with investigations by data protection authorities.

Partner Erik Ficks is Head of Roschier's Intellectual Property, Brand Protection, Marketing & Consumer, and Public Procurement practices. Erik Forsin is a partner and heads Baker McKenzie’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Stockholm. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2020. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked at the Stockholm office of another global law firm. He graduated from Stockholm University (LL.M., jur.kand.) in 2008. He also has experience from working in Swedish Courts and the Swedish Enforcement Agency. In addition to acting in commercial disputes Erik serves as an arbitrator and has completed the SCC Institute and Swedish Arbitration Association Arbitrator Training Program (Class of 2021/2022). He has been lead counsel in numerous arbitrations, mainly under the SCC Rules and ad hoc as well as co-counsel in several Sweden seated arbitrations under foreign laws. Erik has tried cases in all major courts in Sweden, including four cases before the Swedish Supreme Court. Erik writes and speaks regularly on topics related to international arbitration in Sweden as well as other Swedish law issues.
