In 1984, he completed his legal internship at Baker & McKenzie in New York and then in Geneva, where he was admitted to the bar in 1986. From 1988 to 1995, he was part of the management team at the marketing agency Groupe Marc Biver Développement, which became IMG Switzerland in 1993. He returned to the bar in 1995 and in 1997 founded the law firm Legrand, Morand & Partners with Jean-Paul Legrand. Since 2009, he has been a partner at the law firm Carrard & Associés, which became Kellerhals Carrard in 2015. Jean-Pierre Morand specializes in commercial and corporate law, and in sports law. Jeremy qualified as a solicitor into the Intellectual Property & Commercial team in September 2013 and assists in a variety of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property and commercial matters for individual, institutional and corporate clients. He has a wide practice advising on general commercial contracts and assists in the registration and protection of IP rights as well as data protection and FOI matters. He advises clients on their relationships with customers and suppliers, and in particular on ensuring compliance with consumer protection legislation.
