Jan Presfeldt is a partner at Nielsen Nørager and is a highly experienced litigator and has conducted a significant number of cases before the Supreme Court, the High Courts and in connection with arbitration. Apart from advising on commercial and corporate law issues, commercial contracts and mergers and acquisitions, Jan Presfeldt works particularly in the areas of tort and insurance law (commercial and product liability, professional liability and construction law) for Danish and foreign companies. Further, Jan Presfeldt serves as board member of a number of Danish companies and as chairman of the board of directors of Wewers A/S. Jan holds a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law (MCL) from the University of California, USA. Jan Presfeldt was born in 1966 and graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 1994.

For more than 20 years, Jan Steen Hansen has worked intensively with direct and indirect taxes. He advises Danish and foreign companies, pension funds, foundations, associations, public institutions and private individuals on matters relating to direct and indirect taxes. Jan is an experienced and recognised tax specialist, focusing, among other things, on tax in connection with M&A transactions, taxation of pension funds, company and shareholder tax, equity and venture funds, financial products, EU and international tax, VAT and other indirect taxes as well as tax in Greenland. Jan also assists our clients with obtaining advance tax rulings from the Danish tax authorities. A substantial part of his work involves complaints proceedings before the National Tax Tribunal and tax cases before the courts. Finally, Jan holds several positions of trust, providing him with first-hand knowledge of, among other things, new tax legislation and tax practice.

Jef leads and co-leads teams handling some of the largest and most complex Danish tax disputes for domestic and foreign clients. Further, Jef handles complex advisory work, in particular in relation to private equity and other investment related fund structuring. Jef is a partner in Plesner's Tax team, specialising in tax controversy and complex advisory work. Jef has extensive experience in a wide range of tax matters involving both direct and indirect taxes, from the audit stage through administrative appeals and court proceedings, including the European Court of Justice. Notably, teams led and co-led by Jef has successfully represented clients in several high-profile transfer pricing disputes. Additionally, Jef is well-versed in all aspects of tax advisory work related to the structuring and management of private equity and other investment fund structures. Whether in dispute resolution or advisory services, the complexity of the projects Jef undertakes invariably requires a collaborative team effort, often involving other partners and cross-disciplinary expertise. Jens Arnesen is a partner with Nielsen Nørager and provides advice within a variety of commercial aspects mainly focusing on start-up ventures and commercialisation of technology-based entities. In said focus area, Jens advises both entrepreneurs, inventors, universities and seed and venture capital funds, thereby gaining relevant expertise from dealing with a broad scope of capital and shareholder issues. Jens has significant experience in the M&A field and deals with all types of commercial arrangements such as research & development agreements, licence agreements, agency and distribution agreements, franchise agreements and other agreements related to intellectual property rights. Furthermore, Jens has considerable experience in litigation, including domestic and international arbitration, and in the field of insolvency where he has been acting for creditors and as the administrator of bankruptcy estates, as supervisor for enterprises having suspended payments and has assisted in arranging compositions with creditors and restructuring of insolvent businesses.
