Preferably through timely advice or a constructive consultation, if necessary with the help of a third party. She also advises on the application and implementation of collective agreements and helps foreign clients in dealing with employment law issues. Maruca is a member of the Healthcare sector team and is closely involved in International expertise. She also lectures on labour law. She is a current and former board member of several associations and foundations, including co-founder of the Dutch Labour Lawyers Association (VAAN). Maryse has 30 years’ experience in litigation, negotiations and consultation in real estate matters and in recent years she has built a track record in complex mediations in real estate matters. She has a strong focus on leasing law, advising on acquisitions and contracts for major real estate portfolios, project development, renovation and healthcare property. Maryse advises (institutional) investors and project developers, real estate consultants, non-profit organisations and public and semi-public authorities. Within Pels Rijcken, Maryse is responsible for several top client accounts, including a large listed company, a top 3 municipality of the Netherlands and the government body responsible for all real estate of the Dutch State. Maryse is also involved in teaching for OSR’s Women Leadership Programme. Mats Reijman is a lawyer in the field of European and Dutch competition law and sector-specific regulation. Mats has experience in administrative enforcement proceedings - such as administrative fines and orders under penalty - before The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), and with various aspects of competition law. He advises companies on matters relating to the prohibition of abuse of dominance, and unlawful (pricing) agreements. Mats also has experience in dawn raids by the European Commission and the Dutch Competition Authority (ACM). In recent years, Mats has gained experience in the food, retail and agri sector. Mats is a board member of the Studiekring Europees Recht (STER), the youth association of the Dutch Association for European Law (NVER). Maurits Terlouw
