Michael is a partner in Plesner's Technology & Outsourcing team. He has been involved in numerous IT projects and transactions, ranging from large tech M&A transactions to outsourcing projects to the negotiation of development agreements, implementation agreements, license agreements, and cloud agreements. Michael provides advice on, e.g., contractual aspects, regulatory matters, and IT/tech disputes and has extensive experience with complex IT carve-out projects and within regulated sectors such as the financial sector. He has worked for customers in many different sectors, as well as IT/tech suppliers, ranging from start-ups to blue-chip companies (including many with an international foothold), and holds a master’s degree in law from Columbia Law School (with honors as a James Kent Scholar) and Aarhus University. Michael is a certified IT lawyer and serves on the board of directors of the Association of Danish IT Attorneys. In addition, he also serves on the boards of other companies and foundations. He is a regular speaker and lecturer on IT-related topics, and he co-authored an article analyzing the liability aspects of personal data processing. Partner Michael Rehling is a certified IT-lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of IT and technology law. He has assisted Danish and international businesses in a large number of contract negotiations regarding the sale and purchase of complex IT services, including system developments, implementation projects and operational services and the later contract management of such projects. Michael is especially knowledgeable about the procedures and legal standards which apply to the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish market for IT services. In addition, Michael is an experienced litigator with the right to attend before the Danish Supreme Court, having conducted a significant number of commercial cases before the Danish courts and arbitral tribunals, concerning IT and trademark disputes, prohibition cases, and other infringement cases. Michael S. Wiisbye is a partner at Nielsen Nørager and has more than 25 years’ experience in insurance and tort law. He advises a number of Danish and foreign insurance companies. In this connection, he has conducted a large number of cases before the courts and arbitration tribunals, many of which concerned the key principles of insurance and tort law. Michael also deals with these questions in his capacity as the editor of the collected case reports on insurance and tort, as well as co-author of a commentary on the Law on liability for damages. Among his other main areas of practice is construction law, which is a field in which Michael conducts many cases for professional advisers before the courts and arbitration tribunals. He also administers Dansk Jagtforsikring, an insurance company for hunters, both in relation to reported injuries and the running of the company. Michael is frequently asked to give lectures at seminars held by, for instance, the Danish Insurance Academy, the Danish Bar and Law Society and the Danish Association for Insurance Law (AIDA), and he has also been a member of several boards and committees concerned with the administration of justice, legal liability and insurance law. Michael acts as arbitrator as well. Michael S. Wiisbye was born in 1961 and graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 1985.

Among other main areas of practice is construction law, which is a field in which Michael Wiisbye conducts many court and arbitration cases for professional advisers. Michala is a partner in Plesner's Insolvency Law and Restructuring team. She has vast experience and expertise in handling large-scale restructuring and bankruptcy cases. Michala advises, among others, financial and other creditors as well as managements in the insolvency field. Michala holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen. She is admitted to the High Court of Denmark. Michala is appointed as a permanent trustee by the Maritime and Commercial High Court and is also a member of the board of Kuratorforeningen (the Association of Permanent Trustees). Michala is also a member of the Danish Advisory Council under the Danish Ministry of Justice. Michala is a certified insolvency lawyer and a member of the board of Danske Insolvensadvokater (an association of Danish insolvency lawyers). Further, Michala is a member and the Danish Council of INSOL Europe.
